A non-profit organization, the objective of the Association is to encourage, promote, enhance and safeguard the interest of its members, provide information and maintain a Registry for recording of encumbrances on motor vehicles, equipment and heavy machinery under hire purchase, lease agreements, bills of sale or floor stock agreements.
To consider, recommend and advise on all matters of importance and /or interest to the Members. To negotiate with the Government, Police or other authorities with reference to legislation, taxation and all other matters pertaining directly or indirectly to hire-purchase financing and the related business.
To afford information, assistance and advice on matters pertaining to hire-purchase financing and the related business in Singapore and elsewhere to all the Members.
